ONE YEAR ON!
A very busy year for us all at Electro Discharge since moving into our new facility in Cradley Heath.
After all the upheaval of the initial move of existing plant and personnel, we have also added 4 new Wire EDM machines and a new Trumpf 7040 5-axis Laser Cutting machine, to our already large EDM/Wire EDM/Fast Hole Drilling and Toolroom capabilities.
Now that the dust has somewhat settled and with audits passed and approvals in place, the benefits of the move are really starting to shine through with improved productivity and extra capacity - leading to shorter lead times for our customers with the same high-quality standards that the company has always strived for and achieved.
The addition of a Trumpf 7040 5-axis Laser machine has massively boosted the company and extended our scope within the industry, with the ability of producing anything from large batch automotive work to high tolerance 'one off' parts for the Aerospace Industry and everything in-between.
All in all, it’s been a challenging year since our move but well worth all of the effort involved, which will not only benefit our workforce but also you - our customers.
